Mediation/Due Process

South Carolina Special Education Attorney & Advocate

The goal is always open, cordial negotiations with your child’s school for the benefit of your special needs child; however, sometimes taking legal action cannot be avoided.

Deciding to move forward with a due process complaint, state complaint, or mediation should not be taken lightly.  Your family and the school district likely have a long relationship ahead. Keeping the relationship positive should always be the first goal when possible because a cordial relationship often benefits your child for the better.

Unfortunately there are times when legal action is the only option. If this turns out to be the case when you disagree with the school district, we will vigorously advocate for your child.

Your child’s future comes first.  We are here to help protect her educational rights.
